Remember this Miami Heat fan? This is your Heat winning there first championship in franchise history. The Heat needed help and they knew they couldn't do it with just Dwyane Wade and Alonzo Mourning, so they went out and acquired Shaquille Oneal. The Heat were able to make it past the Detroit Pistons in the conference finals and set up an NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks. We weer at the finals but we knew it was going to be tough. They lost the first two game falling 0-2 too the the Mavericks, where only three team in NBA history have come back from a deficit like that. After losing the second game, third year guard coming out of marquette Dwyane Wade spoke up and said,"I have to play better...thats it." He was only averaging 14.7 points from the first two games. Game three came up and Dwyane wade did exactly what he intendid too do, and that was play better. The heat won game three and they also won games 4-6 too win there first NBA championship. Dwyane averaged 31.8 points per game for the last four game and was named NBA Finals MVP. The Miami Heat accomplished what only three other teams in the NBA have ever done and that was coming back from a 0-2 deficit.
